Abu Dhabi Police has developed a service to automatically reactivate the canceled traffic file for individuals through its website.
The activation takes place after six months from the last date in the event that no process is performed in the application for a driver's license examination in addition to an eye test.
Under the service, customers wishing to open a traffic file can register for theoretical and practical training courses to obtain a driver's license.
To open the traffic file, it is required to provide an Emirates ID document, pass a medical examination, and that the applicant for the service must be within the legal age, and the source of residency is the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The process of developing a traffic file opening service aims to improve the quality and speed of completing transactions and increase customer satisfaction with police services.
